Recap: Pana Panthers vs. Sullivan Redskins
The Pana Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Sullivan on the road and fell 65-26. Pana was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-15.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lilly Rochkes, who scored two points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Delaney Hackler, who scored three points.
Pana has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 16 of their last 18 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season. As for Sullivan, they pushed their record up to 13-10 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pana will take on Litchfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Litchfield is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Sullivan, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday.
