Football Game Preview: Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks vs. Petaluma Trojans + How To Watch

The Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks will head out to square off against the Petaluma Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Saturday, Tamalpais was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 34-28 to Casa Grande.

Despite the loss, Tamalpais had strong showings from Henry Tuttle, who threw for 262 yards and three TDs, and Timo Ural, who picked up 89 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Petaluma played a tough contest last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against American Canyon, falling 35-14. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Although Petaluma took the loss, they still got scores from Evan Clarke and Brody Stevens.

Petaluma's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Tamalpais, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Tamalpais came up short against Petaluma when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 32-27. Thankfully for the Red Tailed Hawks, Ryan Landry (who rushed for 62 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 62 yards and one TD) won't be suiting up this time.
