Basketball Recap: Williamsville's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak at Home

Williamsville's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Riverton Hawks 40-9. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for the Bullets this season.

Despite the loss, Riverton still got an impressive performance from Jordyn Durham, who posted four points and three blocks.

Williamsville's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-17. As for Riverton, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.

Williamsville will challenge St. Thomas More at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Riverton, they will face off against Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Riverton is facing Paxton-Buckley-Loda at the right time seeing as Paxton-Buckley-Loda is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
