Mendon had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bellevue Broncos with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mendon took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6, 25-12.

Mendon's victory bumped their record up to 16-1-1. As for Bellevue, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
