Los Alamos had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Espanola Valley on Saturday. The Hilltoppers put the hurt on the Sundevils with a sharp 18-9 victory. Considering the Hilltoppers have won 11 matchups by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
