Pendleton Heights put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Yorktown Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 last Tuesday.

Pendleton Heights let Colin Axel-Adams and Ty Frakes run wild. Axel-Adams scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while Frakes scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most hits Axel-Adams has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mazon Saxon, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Pendleton Heights' record now sits at 3-0. As for Yorktown, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Pendleton Heights will venture away from home to challenge New Castle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Arabians are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Yorktown, they will be playing at home against Connersville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
