Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Sheridan entered their tilt with Carroll on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sheridan was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15.

Eva Todd was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs and three aces.

Todd wasn't the only good servers: Sheridan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The Blackhawks are 11-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Sheridan's record is now 16-8. As for Carroll, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-20.

Sheridan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Eastern on the 11th. As for Carroll, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Tri-Central on the 11th.
