Softball Recap: Seminary Bulldogs vs. Columbia Wildcats
In what's become a running theme this season, Seminary gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against the Columbia Wildcats as the Seminary Bulldogs made off with a 17-3 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for Seminary as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Seminary got a massive performance out of Presleigh Atwood, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and a double. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Sanford, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a double.
Seminary's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Columbia, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-10-1.
Seminary does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbia, they will head out on the road to face off against West Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
