Baseball Game Preview: Stockbridge Valley Indians vs. Madison Central Blue Devils

The Stockbridge Valley Indians will face off against the Madison Central Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Stockbridge Valley is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Stockbridge Valley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past New York Mills 11-2 on Friday. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Meanwhile, Madison Central lost 11-2 to Canastota on Saturday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stockbridge Valley pushed their record up to 4-0-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Madison Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
