Volleyball Game Preview: Blaine Bengals vs. Anoka Tornadoes

The Blaine Bengals will head out on the road to square off against the Anoka Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Two weeks ago, Blaine was able to grind out a solid win over Coon Rapids, taking the game 3-1.

Blaine had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-16, 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Anoka had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

While Anoka won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 28-26, 25-20.

Blaine's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Anoka, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
