Soccer Recap: Mingus Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prescott, Mingus was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They beat the Bradshaw Mountain Bears by a goal, winning 2-1. The Marauders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Sophie Walter and Brooke Walksler scored both of Mingus' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 34 goals.

Mingus' victory bumped their record up to 9-1-1. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record this season.

Mingus didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Coconino on the 21st. Bradshaw Mountain has also already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Mohave on the 21st.
