Basketball Recap: Tonkawa Gets the Win

Tonkawa proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 26) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Star-Spencer Bobcats 59-57.

Tonkawa is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Star-Spencer, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tonkawa will venture away from home to challenge Morrison at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Star-Spencer, they will head out on the road to square off against Harding Fine Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
