Basketball Game Preview: Forsyth Central Bulldogs vs. Mountain View Bears

The Forsyth Central Bulldogs will take on the Mountain View Bears in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Forsyth Central lost to Denmark on the road by a 44-26 margin. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 60-46 to Seckinger. One positive for the Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Forsyth Central, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Things could have been worse for Forsyth Central, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-42 loss to Mountain View in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Forsyth Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
