Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gardner). Everything went their way against the Murdock Blue Devils on Tuesday as they made off with a 17-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Gardner's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Murdock, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gardner will welcome Tahanto Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Murdock, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Prouty at 4:00 p.m.
