Recap: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Kenosha Tremper Trojans
The Indian Trail Hawks posted their biggest win since December 16, 2023 on Thursday. Everything went their way against Kenosha Tremper as Indian Trail made off with a 58-33 win. Given Indian Trail's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while Kenosha Tremper is ranked 412th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Mj Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Stackhouse is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Silas Bolton, who scored nine points along with two steals.
The win (which was Indian Trail's third in a row) raised their record to 9-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Kenosha Tremper, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Indian Trail will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kenosha Tremper, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
