Basketball Recap: Capuchino Comes Up Short

Capuchino lost against Sequoia back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Capuchino Mustangs took a blow against the Sequoia Ravens, falling 55-25. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Capuchino's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Rodriguez, who posted four points.

Capuchino has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Sequoia, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Capuchino will challenge Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sequoia, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 83-72 defeat against Alisal on the 8th.
