Volleyball Recap: Hayfield Takes a Loss

Hayfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Charles Fighting Saints.

Hayfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for St. Charles, they moved to 3-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Hayfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Grand Meadow on the 20th. As for St. Charles, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Bethlehem Academy on the 20th.
