Basketball Recap: Spring Baptist Academy Has No Trouble Against Community Christian

On Friday, everything went the Spring Baptist Academy Royals's way against the Community Christian Lions as the Spring Baptist Academy Royals made off with a 43-20 victory.

Addy Doelitsch went supernova for Spring Baptist Academy, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 22 boards. Another player making a difference was Natalia Munoz, who posted six points and ten rebounds.

Despite the loss, Community Christian still got an impressive performance from Makayla Nguyen, who scored 15 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylee Wright, who put up five points.

The win got Spring Baptist Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Community Christian, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Spring Baptist Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Faith Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Community Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-23 win against Lighthouse HomeSchool on the 13th.
