Volleyball Game Preview: Minarets Mustangs vs. Immanuel Eagles + Official Tickets

The Minarets Mustangs will head out to challenge the Immanuel Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Minarets is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

While Minarets' win against Fowler wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Redcats on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since September 20th.

Minarets took Fowler into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 23-25, 25-16, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Immanuel got the win against Reedley on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Immanuel's got stronger as the match went on, holding Reedley to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-13.

Minarets better focus on containing Brooklynn Semper and Aubrey Turmon as the pair were huge in Immanuel's win. Semper had ten digs and seven assists, while Turmon had 17 assists and 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Turmon a new career-high.

The victory got Minarets back to even at 16-16-1. As for Immanuel, their win bumped their record up to 18-16.

Minarets might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Immanuel in their previous matchup back in August of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
