Volleyball Recap: Wimberley Comes Up Short

Wimberley's tournament run continued when they took on Liberty on Thursday. The Texans fell 2-0 to the Patriots. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Texans were not able to get on the board.

Wimberley's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Liberty, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Wimberley and Liberty should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Texans will square off against Round Rock Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (60 vs. 657). Meanwhile, Liberty (ranked first) will meet Lorena (ranked 141st) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
