Volleyball Recap: Bonita Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bonita entered their match against San Dimas on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bearcats lost 3-0 to the Saints. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Bonita had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-20.

San Dimas got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalie Starkey out in front who had 24 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Starkey has posted over her last four games. Another player making a difference was Janelle Marquez, who had 13 digs.

Bonita's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for San Dimas, their record now sits at 8-4.

Coming up, Bonita will challenge Chino at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Dimas, they will take on Monrovia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
