Basketball Recap: Groton-Dunstable Comes Up Short

Groton-Dunstable managed to slip by Oakmont Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders had to suffer through a 55-24 loss at the hands of the Spartans. The Crusaders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Groton-Dunstable's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Oakmont Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Groton-Dunstable is set to face off against their familiar foe North Middlesex Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oakmont Regional will challenge rival Shepherd Hill Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
