Baseball Game Preview: Arnett Wildcats vs. Hammon Warriors

Arnett is 1-9 against Hammon since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Wildcats will challenge the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Arnett has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Arnett came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Seiling, falling 12-2.

Meanwhile, Hammon sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over Thomas-Fay-Custer on Saturday.

Hammon's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Arnett, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Arnett suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Hammon when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
