Ridge View not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4, 2024. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Fairfield Central Griffins a 12-0 shutout. The Blazers haven't had any issues with the Griffins recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Brooklyn Corugo was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Helena Wright was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Ridge View's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Ridge View will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Westwood at 7:15 p.m. As for Fairfield Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Chester at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
