CORE Butte waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Red Bluff Spartans.

Reagan Coates paced CORE Butte's offense, picking up ten kills. Coates got some help from Macey Ascherman and her 14 assists. Coates and Ascherman didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

CORE Butte's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Red Bluff, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-12 record.

CORE Butte wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Del Norte on the 13th. As for Red Bluff, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Weed on the 13th.
