Saraland extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-0. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Spanish Fort Toros 54-7. That 47 point margin sets a new team best for the Spartans this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Saraland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamison Roberts, who threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a pair of scores on the ground. Roberts is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another receiver making a difference was Deshawn Spencer, who gained 228 total yards and three touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Saraland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 236 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

As for Spanish Fort, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. They haven't had much luck with Saraland recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Spanish Fort lost, don't look at Justin 'JuJu' Bonner. Despite the final result, he rushed for 82 yards and one TD, and also caught one touchdown.

Saraland has already played their next matchup, a 43-10 victory against McGill-Toolen on the 19th. As for Spanish Fort, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-0 win against Murphy on the 18th.
