Softball Recap: Mountain Pointe Takes a Loss

Mountain Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 22-1 to the Arizona College Prep Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 last Monday.

Mountain Pointe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evita Delgado, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Mountain Pointe's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Arizona College Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Mountain Pointe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-4 defeat against Saguaro on the 12th. As for Arizona College Prep, they will challenge Higley at 1:00 p.m. on March 20th.
