Softball Game Preview: Beacon Blue Demons vs. School of the Future

The Beacon Blue Demons will face off against School of the Future at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Beacon's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so School of the Future's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Beacon's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Friday's struggle, when Bergtraum hitters got past them. The Blue Demons came up short against the Blazers on Friday, falling 17-1. The match marked the Blue Demons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, School of the Future entered their tilt with Environmental on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles an 11-0 shutout. School of the Future might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

School of the Future pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Beacon, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.
