Soccer Recap: Shrine Catholic Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Shrine Catholic has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 3-1 to the Greenhills Gryphons on Tuesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Shrine Catholic couldn't quite close it out.

Shrine Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Greenhills, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shrine Catholic will take on Detroit Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenhills, they will face off against Manchester at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
