Braintree is a perfect 10-0 against Needham since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wamps will host the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Braintree will be strutting in after a win while Needham will be coming in after a defeat.

Braintree's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Newton North as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wamps in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Needham came up short against Milton on Wednesday and fell 6-3.

Needham dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Braintree, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Braintree beat Needham 4-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Wamps repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
