Central Cass had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Lisbon Broncos.

Central Cass' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Lisbon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Cass will head out to challenge Kindred/Richland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Colts will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Squirrels surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lisbon, they will face off against Hankinson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
