Baseball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Geneva nor East Rochester made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Panthers fell just short of the Bombers by a score of 2-1. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bombers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Geneva's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for East Rochester, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Geneva will challenge Waterloo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Rochester, they will face off against Clyde-Savannah at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
