Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Linton-Stockton). They blew past the North Knox Warriors 48-0 at home on Friday. Given the Miners' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Warriors are ranked 251st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Linton-Stockton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylon Mcbride, who rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 86 yards and a touchdown. Mcbride also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making a tackle and defending three passes. Paul Oliver was another key player, gaining 109 total yards and two touchdowns.

Linton-Stockton will host Eastern Greene at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastern Greene is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26.4 points per game this season. As for North Knox, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against North Daviess at 7:00 p.m. North Daviess will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something North Knox surely won't give up without a fight.
