Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for West Carteret + How To Watch

West Carteret entered their tilt with Pamlico County on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Hurricanes 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Thursday.

While West Carteret won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-13.

West Carteret was led to victory by Ella-Grace Rodriguez and Anna Claire Oakes. Rodriguez had five aces, four digs, and one block, while Oakes had 14 digs and eight aces. The dominant performance also gave Oakes a new career-high in kills (three).
