Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Liberty Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Calvary Lutheran Lions, falling 3-0.

While Liberty Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Calvary Lutheran work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8, 27-25.

Caroline Keller paced Liberty Christian Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Keller got some help from Trina Scheltens and her six assists. Scheltens also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Marielle Moss, racking up two apiece.

Liberty Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Liberty Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Providence Classical Christian Academy on the 8th. Calvary Lutheran has also already played their next matchup (against Otterville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
