Baseball Game Preview: La Salle Lancers vs. Bishop Fenwick Falcons

The La Salle Lancers will venture away from home to take on the Bishop Fenwick Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

La Salle can't be to happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Saturday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Turpin. The Lancers have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Bishop Fenwick duked it out with Milford on Saturday. Bishop Fenwick came up short against Milford, falling 11-1.

Everything went La Salle's way against Bishop Fenwick in their previous matchup back in March of 2015, as La Salle made off with a 12-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for La Salle since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
