Soccer Recap: East Burke Comes Up Short

East Burke lost against Patton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cavaliers lost 9-0 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, East Burke can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 551st, while Patton are ranked 64th).

East Burke's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Patton, they pushed their record up to 13-1-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, East Burke will head out to challenge Hibriten at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patton, they will be playing at home against Draughn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
