Basketball Recap: The Woodlands Takes a Loss

If The Woodlands was riding high fresh off their 58-25 takedown of New Caney last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Woodlands Highlanders lost to the Conroe Tigers at home by a 51-34 margin on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-33 back in January.

The Woodlands' defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Conroe, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-17.

Looking ahead, The Woodlands will challenge Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conroe, they will take on Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
