St. Michael came into Tuesday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Rock Point Cougars on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-2 victory. Considering the Cardinals' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

St. Michael's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-10. As for Rock Point, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, St. Michael will be playing at home against Greyhills Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rock Point will be paying especially close attention to the Cardinals' contest: after the Cardinals face off against the Ftng Knights, they'll take on Rock Point again at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
