After flying high against Brookfield last Tuesday, Southeast came back down to earth. The Southeast Pirates were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 45-44 to the LaBrae Vikings. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Southeast's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for LaBrae, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Southeast will head out to challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaBrae, they will take on Crestview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully LaBrae likes a good challenge.
