Soccer Game Preview: Langley vs. Centreville

Langley has gone a perfect 3-0 against Centreville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Saxons will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. Langley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Langley fell victim to Herndon and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Hornets.

Meanwhile, Centreville kept a clean sheet against Lake Braddock on Friday. They blew past the Bruins 3-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Centreville were the better team in the second half.

Centreville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Langley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Langley was able to grind out a solid victory over Centreville when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Saxons repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
