Swampscott has gone 9-1 against Salem recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Big Blue will be playing in front of their home fans against the Witches at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Swampscott didn't have quite enough to beat Bishop Fenwick and fell 3-2.

Swampscott took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-20, 21-25, 25-18, 17-15.

Meanwhile, Salem lost 3-0 to Marblehead on Monday. The Witches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-19.

Swampscott's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Swampscott took their victory against Salem in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Big Blue repeat their success, or do the Witches have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
