Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northeastern walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 50-31 victory over the Hagerstown Tigers on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Tre Vanlandingham was a one-man wrecking crew for Northeastern as he went 8-for-16 on his way to 20 points. Thanks to that strong game, Vanlandingham now owns an excellent 45.2% shooting accuracy. Sam White was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 11 boards.

Hagerstown's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Isaac Schmitz, who posted 12 points, and Landon Lawson, who had three points in addition to ten rebounds, five assists, and five blocks. Schmitz is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 63% in the last seven games he's played.

Northeastern's record is now 23-1. As for Hagerstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Coming up, Northeastern will take on Shenandoah at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northeastern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.9 points per game this season. Hagerstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
