Preview: Reading Blue Devils vs. Indian Hill Braves
Reading is 1-9 against Indian Hill since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Reading Blue Devils will look to defend their home court against the Indian Hill Braves at 7:30 p.m. Reading will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 501st, while Indian Hill is ranked 202nd).
Reading lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Wyoming 59-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Reading has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Indian Hill strolled past Madeira with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 62-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for Indian Hill.
Reading now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Indian Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Reading came up short against Indian Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 67-57. Can Reading avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
