Volleyball Recap: Westlake Triumphs

Westlake's tournament run continued when they took on Woodrow Wilson on Saturday. Westlake came out on top against Woodrow Wilson by a score of 2-0.

Westlake had a senior duo take command as Talon Schank had 13 digs and one assist and Keagan Cundiff had 12 assists and six digs. Cundiff is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 14 games he's played.

Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Woodrow Wilson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Westlake and Skyridge will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. Westlake is facing Skyridge at the right time seeing as Skyridge is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Woodrow Wilson, they will take on Lakewood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
