Basketball Recap: Hickman Takes a Loss

Hickman has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 90-68 to the Vianney Golden Griffins on Monday. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Kewpies struggled afterwards.

Hickman's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Vianney, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Hickman will take on Boonville at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th. As for Vianney, they will challenge Lemont at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Vianney knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Lemont likes a good challenge.
