Baldwin is 0-3 against ED White since November of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Commanders at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Baldwin's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
Baldwin barely beat Andrew Jackson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians blew past the Tigers 41-8 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won six games by 23 points or more so far this season.
Baldwin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Stephen Screws led the charge by throwing for 228 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Nashawn Jacobs helped Screws out on the ground, rushing for 144 yards and a pair of scores.

Baldwin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Keon Barrow, Xavier Cotton, and Amari Parker picked up one apiece. Cotton is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times ED White and Riverside had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Commanders strolled past the Generals with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-45. Given the Commanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Generals are ranked 206th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Baldwin better keep an eye on King Boylston. He was instrumental in ED White's win, throwing for 231 yards and two touchdowns while completing 81.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 59 yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave Boylston a new career-high in passer rating (161.5). Vetrin Lewis was another key player, gaining 99 total yards and two touchdowns.
ED White was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 292 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 160 rushing yards in eight consecutive matchups.
ED White's defensive line made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Riverside's side was Julian Holt, who picked up a sack, made 11 total tackles, and defended one pass.
ED White pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points over those games. As for Baldwin, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Baldwin might still be hurting after the 42-16 loss they got from ED White when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Commanders' Rontrez Loyd, who rushed for 97 yards and one score, and also picked up 43 receiving yards and one touchdown. Now that the Indians know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
