After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Northfield brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They blew past the Montbello Warriors 14-0 on Thursday. With that win, Northfield brought their scoring average up to 3.8 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Montbello from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Lara Jaenisch led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by herself.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-0-3. As for Montbello, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
