Soccer Recap: Andrada Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Andrada Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palo Verde Titans. The Mavericks were probably out for revenge after losing 3-0 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Their goal came courtesy of Cecelia Stange, who's now up to three this season.

Andrada Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Palo Verde, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrada Polytechnic will challenge Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Andrada Polytechnic is facing Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Palo Verde, they will square off against Tanque Verde at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Palo Verde's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
