There's no place like home for East Surry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Surry Central Golden Eagles on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

East Surry's record now sits at 12-10. As for Surry Central, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-7.

Looking ahead, East Surry is taking a road trip to take on Forbush at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. Surry Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
